About My Serendipity Journey
We understand that sometimes, it takes courage for us to be real. To empower consumers in the Asia Pacific in their personal quests to be their best selves, we began uncovering the truth behind the unrealistic ideals and standards of the beauty industry, and initiated the Merz Aesthetics Serendipity JourneyTM in 2018.
Over the years, we continued to share inspiring stories of how people overcame their personal struggles and created their own definitions of beauty. This encouraged more and more consumers to start their serendipity journeys with us.
Today, our growing MASJ community continues to transform the way society perceives beauty, and shows us that beauty can and should be defined on our own terms.

Are the beauty industry’s unrealistic standards and ideals of beauty creating less self-love in people?
We surveyed 3,210 individuals across 11 Asia Pacific countries to find out how people felt about beauty, self-worth and aesthetic treatments today.
While self-confidence levels have improved over the last decade, we found that men and women still battle to feel self-confident or even pay themselves a compliment.
